Charity Drive for the Leesten Neighborhood Team

As an organization, we believe it is important to be involved in the local community. Many of our colleagues are from the immediate area and are actively involved in clubs, neighborhood associations, and volunteer work.

For and by residents

We’d like to give these initiatives an extra boost. That’s why we organize our Charity Drive every year. All colleagues are invited to nominate local charities, and two organizations are selected from the nominations. This year, our first donation check was presented to the Leesten Neighborhood Team.

From our office in Zutphen, we have a direct view of the Leesten neighborhood. There, a group of volunteers has come together to organize community activities for all neighborhood residents. From workshops, a repair café, a disco, and a Halloween party to game nights, there’s always something fun to do. Wies and Wilco received the donation check from our colleague Alita, who lives in the neighborhood herself. The funds will be put to excellent use and will be used to organize a film festival featuring a big screen.

Want to join in?

As a community, you collectively shape the social fabric of your neighborhood. That’s why the Leesten Neighborhood Team believes it’s important to come together and foster connections. At the community center near the skatepark, people of all ages get to know each other better, and lifelong friendships are formed.

The Leesten Neighborhood Team is a resident-led initiative with limited resources. Through creative solutions and collaboration with the organizations Perspectief and Tactus, they accomplish a great deal. To do even more for residents, additional support is needed.
